Great day for the Kanata Lakes Food Drive

by

On Saturday September 26, Kanata Lakes Community Association collected ~ 6,300 lbs of food & toiletries for our Kanata Lakes Fall Food Drive 💫 ❤️
Between 10am -2pm volunteers from the KLCA, Kanata-Hazeldean Lions Club, 1st Kanata Scouts our annual sponsor Kodiak Snow Removal, and members of the KCSSC collected hundreds of bags of food from neighbours who answered the call and FILLED THE BAGS. It’s so meaningful to see how much people give – it will help so many people.
The truck was filled up and driven to the Kanata Food Cupboard.
Thank you to all the great volunteers, we are so grateful that you worked with us.
We’ve also raised $200 online ⭐️ If you want to contribute still, you can donate online https://klca.ca/food-drive/
