Join the party on June 10 at the “Celebrate Canada” Family Festival.  It starts with a parade along Castlefrank at 1:30 and continues at 170 Castlefrank with stage entertainment and diverse activities, plus a BBQ.  Fun for all ages!

First, a Parade!
1:30 PM – Pedestrian and bicycle parade along Castlefrank Road from Jack Charron Arena on McKitrick
Drive
to the Lion Dick Brûlé Community Centre, 170 Castlefrank Road (a distance of 0.7 km)
Decorate your bicycle, tricycle, wagon or even pet. Or, if you wish, don a costume that celebrates Canada or
reflects
our heritage. Prizes in various categories. Judging from 2:15 – 2:30.
You can email parade.registration@khlions.com to register or just show up for the event!!

2:30 – 3:00 Welcome/awarding of prizes
3:00 – 3:30 Magic show
3:30 – 3:45 Salsa dancing
3:45 – 4:00 Square dancing
4:00 – 4:15 Scottish dancing
4:15 – 4:30 Chinese women’s dancing group
4:45 – 5:00 Old-time fiddlers
5:00 – 5:15 Break
5:15 – 5:30 Tai chi demonstration
5:30 – 5:45 Chinese musical performance
5:45 – 6:00 Anatolian artistry
6:00 – 6:30 Break
6:30 – 7:10 Vocal oldies/sing-a-long
7:10 – 8:00 Youth band and vocals
8:15 – 9:30 Moving indoors – Canadian trivia
(adults; bar open)

Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. Parking at Jack Charron Arena, St. Martin de Porres School
(behind arena) or at AY Jackson High School. (On-site parking reserved for handicapped,
performers, exhibitors and workers)
